In The Unquiet Dead, Cardiff's New Theatre stood in for a theatre in 1869 Cardiff.
The location managers were pleased to find that the New Theatre pretty much had all they needed in a Victorian theatre - no particular need to dress the set.
With a bit of BBC SFX magic and some extras, the same location becomes the Talesin Lodge in 1869 Cardiff, ready for malevolent alien ghosts and a panic-striken audience.
