Sneed's parlour

In The Unquiet Dead, an old empty Victorian school in Penarth was transformed into the various elements that made up Sneed's funeral parlour.

The entire episode starts off in this ordinary room:

Chapel of rest (before)

With a bit of BBC magic, the room becomes the Chapel of Rest, where the bodies wait. Or mount up.

A corridor in the school is turned into a hallway in Sneed's parlour.

Hallway, dressed for TV

This unassuming room becomes the parlour, a perfect place for a seance.

Our tour of the Headlands School as used in Doctor Who ends down here in a cold and chilly basement that becomes the mortuary.
