The race is on

We had two hours to find Lynne an outfit to make her look glamorous. We went from Chequers to the Cancer Research shop and we bought a white top there.

Then we went to Ty Hafan and bought another top. Then we went down to Barnardos and we bought a pair of glittery shoes and a scarf.

Peer pressure

Clothes hangers I enjoyed it and I thought it was really interesting cos we never normally go in charity shops cos nobody our age goes in charity shops and it's just embarrassing.

We all just went in there and we didn't care. There were really good things in there, so we were really surprised about what we could find. She'll definitely look good.

It would be nice to know which Cancer Research shop the girls went to as I work for Cancer Research UK and know from 1st hand experience that we get some fantastic clothes donated from the general public (also lots of designer labels but you need to be a frequent visitor and have a keen eye to get the bargains!) Thanks to charity shops it's now possible for everyone to have a great wardrobe at an affordable price whilst helping people across the world who are less fortunate than ourselves. Keep on shopping!
