Listen to Ray (Need help with RealPlayer?)

When I come here twenty years ago, it was good. We used to have parties in the square and stuff like that. But there's twenty houses in the street, and maybe out of them about eight new people have moved in in the last four years ago.

It's not like it used to be - a community. Most areas got their little cliques. People do stick together.

They got their own little clique going I suppose. They seem to keep their selves more, don't seem to want to mix much. They don't come down for barbies and stuff like that. They sit out their back with their little bit of music. Maybe because we're older.

I was young at the time when we came here, and most people were all about the same age. You knew if you were in trouble they'd come and help you.

It's too big - Ely's too big. I'm getting older now, so maybe a smaller community. Cornwall or Devon - that'd suit me.
