With members aged from 14 to 19 years, the group has built links with the Cardiff business community through organising conferences and getting involved in jobs fairs and voluntary projects.

The group's flagship annual event is the Building Our Futures conference, which sees the BRG's young members deliver presentations and workshops to local business figures.

The group has the support of a number of agencies, including Legal & General, Safer Wales, Cardiff Council (Youth Service), Careers Wales and the Welsh Assembly Government.
