"I took this photo of the river almost at its source above
Glynhafod, Aberdare. Sixty years ago our family would have picnics
on the banks whilst the children paddled. I took my grandchildren up to show them where we swam in the lido just below this. On the mountain seen through the trees we would collect pounds of wimberries for tarts and preserving."
