Favourite actress of the lads' mags
Biography:
Jan is best known for her four year spell as Nurse Chloe Hill in the BBC TV series Casualty.

Her big TV break came playing wild child Jodie in the BBC Wales series Tiger Bay, the character turning out to be the daughter of her future Casualty co-star Robert Gwilym.

The long-running hospital drama made Jan a star, leading to a series of raunchy photoshoots for mens' magazines.

Since leaving Casualty, Jan has remained a firm favourite on the nation's screens, appearing in London's Burning and A Mind To Kill, as well as movies such as Human Traffic.

Moment of Glory:

Just watched her on BBC's Torchwood - nice to see her back from the States to do a little stint on British TV again!

Sean Doherty - South Africa
She used to live near me when I lived in London - she was a wild one! Was into leopard design underwear!!

Neale Jones, Bridgend
She was such a success, what is she doing now?

Maria, Los Angeles
Great to see Jan in action again - saw her on an episode of Prison Break in the states! Go girl!

Laura Welch from Cambridge
I think she is pretty and she looks so young. She's a great actress. She played Chloe Hill in Casualty - when she left I was so upset. I haven't seen her in any other things since she left Casualty. I really would like to see her in another TV soap soon.

I can remember working with Janet Anderson on Porthcawl Comprehensive's Annie production in the Grand Pavilion. I was on stage right, in the wings helping with the other stage hands to move the props about. I'll never forget one of the nights when the dog decided to have a dump live on stage ... anyone entering from stage left nearest to the "delivery" had to neatly step over it as if they had some sort of walking problem. As the scene finished, and the lights went down. A teacher in stage left cleared the mess up while everyone else got on with their job. It still cracks me up now. But the thing is that even while the dog was doing the do, Janet stayed calm and got on with it. Where is she now?!

Gem Burnstead from Kent
Best Actress Ever! Casualty has lost something without her there! Bring back Chloe!
