Wow Congrats Lauren, well deserved! A long ways from the days on White Street listening to George Crumb

Prof. Peter J. Schoenbach from SUNY Fredonia
I just heard Lauren's recital on national public radio. I know her both from Fredonia and Chautuauqua and am delighted with her much deserved success.

Mary from Rochester
So this is what I find when doing a search for work. I am so happy for you. Wunderbar!

James Contrino from SUNY Fredonia
Lauren had an amazing instrument, demeanor on stage, and magnetism from the first second I met her...I always knew she would soar. All the best.

Aunt Nancy
this is wonderful Lauren as you are God Bless!

Christel from Pennellville
I couldn't resist. Jen sent this to me. You look beautiful. Congrats on your Opera success. Is your family still in Pville? (I thought about writing Blumer Road or across the street?) My family's not actually )in Pville anymore). Want to visit that place though. Hope all is well.

Nigel Skuce, N.Ireland
Could we be related, any Irish connections

Ben Clarke from Appleton, NY
Holy smokes!! I'm not a bit surprised. Where's Wynn & LA?

Reimer, Glimmerglass
Rightfully, Lauren should have won.

Jen from Brewerton
I cannot tell you how thrilled to the core I am to see your success. It brings me to tears to see the beautiful woman you are! But then again, I could not be less surprised. I send my love to you.

AJ from Syracuse
I've watched the girl transform into the artist that you see now. It was a difficult path, but one that was persued with hunger and passion. To expirence her performances is to be touched in a way you'll not likely forget. She changed touched me with her power, her voice and, well, herself, many years ago. It is glorious to now see how she has touched, and made beleivers of others who experience the beauty that is the person behind the voice. And it's universal. She's a force to be reckoned with; but never tamed. Remember, the best is yet to come... Fasten your seatbelts!

Norma from Monmouth
I thought her Carlisle Floyd aria was wonderful - such good enunciation and clarity of tone, and incredibly expressive. Couldn't understand Barbara Bonney's comments! This is a wonderful voice and a wonderful piece.

Rubyanna Pollak, Edina, MN
Good luck, Lauren!

Richard Cox from Opera Theatre of St.Louis
Lauren is a phenomenal colleague and a performer. The audience is in for a treat with this amazing singing actress.

sasha
hi

Sheilah E from STL
My fav - could listen to her glorious voice all day!!

Lauren Skuce from USA
Lauren Skuce has a glorious voice which is thrilling at every moment, from the lowest notes to the stunning highest notes of the soprano range. She is an amazing actress while singing, her face, her expressions, her movments, are as those of a great stage actress. Her diction is also not merely clear but profoundly communicative. She is one of the finest artists I have ever heard. In opera, oratorio, recitals, and in new music, Lauren Skuce is a consumate musician. In her performances, singing, musicianship, and acting are perflectly blended, and then there is that special something, the indescribable --not merely charisma or sensuality -- but something more like humanity, that transforms everything she does into a cathartic experience. She changes lives when she sings. Bruce Adolphe, Lincoln Center, NEW YORK

Will Ferguson from New York City
Lauren is a great singer and is phenomenal on stage. Truly one of the great lyric sopranos of her's or any generation.

Steven Paul Spears from Louisville, KY
