Very interesting to see as well as hear. I heard Matthias earlier in the week on R3 and couldn't bear the Purcell, but like the next piece very muchbetter. To be able to control the Counter-tenor voice in this Rossini is really somnething

Janice Mayer form New York

what a fantastic counter tenor voice! The `soft` tone displayed was absolutely superb!

Rune from London
Hurrah!! Finally it has happened - a countertenor in the running for Singer of the World. With all the new countertenors coming into the light of day I think this is a fantastic chance to bring this particular voice to a wider audience. Best of luck Matthias!!!

Hanne from Mössingen, Germany
Matthias, if you sing "Ombra mai fu" like you did in my brother's living room last night you'll win the competition!
