Frockwatch: Beti George

Beti George, stage host during the week and presenter for Radio Cymru for the live coverage of the Final

For those of you based beyond the Land of Song, Beti George is a broadcaster with a long line of music programmes to her credit both on television and radio. Beti's task during the Competition is to host the recitals and concerts, with a secondary responsibilty for chivvying along the audience when debates about the last singer threaten to hold up the concert.

Beti is a tall, stylish woman of a certain age and always appears well groomed. She's given us some strong outfits this week. She's not afraid of colour - turquoise and fuchsia pink have made their appearance but her best outfits have been in neutral linens. Longline tunics and jackets are teamed with trousers - flattering and a lesson to us all. Using one colour top to toe is ideal too. And Beti has good eye for accessories too - one clever, interesting piece to make the look her own.
