Markus Werba cuts a handsome figure on the platform - immaculately be-suited, fresh-faced with blond hair swept back and a charmingly flirty style. Any sensible Dorabella or Fiordiligi would have been impressed by this description of his own charms and for once we didn't have to rely on imagination to conjure up the picture!
Following his immaculate recital of German lieder, Markus used his concert programme to let his hair down. Again his technique was superb and he had real presence on stage. At the interval, the women in the audience were very interested in his forthcoming performances!
