Pharmacology

Title
Pharmacology studies the action of chemicals on living systems and much of the work involves drugs and medicine. Pharmacologists research and develop new drugs for both human and animal use.

They also investigating old drugs to find new applications and to understand disease processes. They experiment on tissue to investigate possible chemical reaction, checking for possible side effects and estimating levels of dosage. They work closely with other scifiles, especially clinicians physiologists and pharmacists.
