How to avoid being an rsod

  • Make sure you eat before you start drinking.
  • Why not have a soft drink or water in between drinks? You can disguise a soft drink as an alcoholic drink without anyone knowing.
  • Don't be pressured into drinking too much.
  • Avoid rounds and take your time.
  • Don't be forced into drinking too quickly.
  • Don't mix your drinks. Mixing drinks can make you more drunk than if you stick to one type of drink.
  • Make sure that your friends look after you and you look after them.
  • If you've had way too much to drink and might vomit, sleep on your side in the recovery position.
  • Make sure you know how you're getting home before you leave the pub.
  • To avoid someone spiking your drink, don't leave it unattended and don't accept drinks from strangers.
