This week Adam Walton explores "inspiration" and meets three scientists in Wales who discuss key inspirational moments in their lives, which have led them to pursue a career in science.

Dr Edward Gomez, Dr Anna Croft, Dr Tom Crick

Dr Edward Gomez is Education Director for Las Cumbras Observatory Global Telescope Network in Cardiff University.

Dr Anna Croft is a bio-chemist at Bangor University and was recently awarded a Welsh Crucible Fellowship to develop her research.

Dr Tom Crick is a senior lecturer in computer science at UWIC, and 2011 British Science Association Media Fellow.
