Welsh writer, actor and musician Boyd Clack's object is a paperweight from the ocean liner RMS Mauretania, sister ship to the Lusitania. The paperweight belonged to Boyd's grandfather, who was known as Dan The Yank, who lived for a time with the Shoshone Indians and was once part of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Circus. He also opened a restaurant in America with Jack Sharkey, the American heavy weight boxing champion. The Mauretania was built for the British Cunard Line and was launched in September 1906.
