You can hear Kim reading the news and making presentation announcements on BBC Radio Wales.
Kim was born in Llanelli into a family that had no links whatsoever with the media. Despite this, from the age of 14, she set her sights on a career in broadcasting. After gaining an MSc in Apicultural Research (or bee research, if you prefer) from University College Cardiff in 1983, Kim joined BBC Radio Wales as a researcher.
She moved into the presentation department in 1985, where she was given her first taste of live broadcasting as both an announcer and newsreader.
Seven years as a news presenter with BBC Wales' flagship news programme Wales Today followed and now, two children later, Kim has returned to her first love - radio!
