Charlotte Evans profile

Charlotte Evans

Charlotte presents Look Up Your Genes and is a member of the Roy Noble show production team.

Charlotte began her career with the BBC in 1987 as a producer and reporter at BBC Radio Gwent, based in Cwmbran.

She went on to work for the Radio Wales newsroom in Cardiff where she produced and presented Good Morning Wales and later Good Evening Wales.

After presenting the mid-morning show Live Time for two years she moved onto the girlie chat show, Girl Talk. In 2001, the show won a prestigious gold Sony award for best speech programme, against national competition from both BBC and commercial stations.

On Look Up Your Genes, Charlotte and Cat Whiteaway hear your family history stories and help you get started with researching your family tree.

Charlotte's husband is the Radio Wales sports reporter Nick Webb. Because of this, she spends a lot of her time waving goodbye to him as he jets off to yet another exotic rugby ground.

Her main hobby is driving her two daughters to a wide range of social events, while their main hobby is driving their mother completely bonkers!
