Radio Wales Phone-In Update
On Thursday's Phone-In
HOW BADLY WILL A POSTAL STRIKE AFFECT YOU? We've already seen a bit of a backlog in our post getting through and now workers are being balloted on whether to down tools altogether. The row's about pay and conditions but while they're thrashing things out, how might your business be affected? And if you're planning a big event like a wedding, are you scared you'll lose all your bookings if your confirmations and cheques are stuck in the sorting office? Perhaps you feel sympathy for your local postie and support any action? 03700 100 110, text 81012.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO PICK AND CHOOSE THE DOCTOR YOU WANT? Restrictions on how far you live from a surgery deciding which GP you can register with, are being relaxed in England. Would you like to see the same happen here? Maybe you've got a favourite doctor whose surgery is now miles from where you live, but you'd still like to be on the books? Or do you worry that you might have to wait too long in an emergency? If you're a doctor, do you worry you'll be inundated with more patients than you can cope with? Let us know.
ARE YOU SICK TO DEATH OF TV REMAKES? The BBC is about to launch a new version of Jane Austen's Emma and recently we've seen re-workings of Minder and Reggie Perrin. Is it nice to see new life breathed into the old favourites or are you sick to the back teeth of them and long for fresh stuff?
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW A WILD ANIMAL? If you're texting on 81012, let us know because apparently 40% of people in Wales haven't seen animals like badgers, foxes nor herons in their natural environment in the last five years.
