IS IT TIME FOR A BIG CHANGE IN THE BENEFIT SYSTEM? As latest figures show that unemployment in Wales has gone up by 7,000, the former Conservative leader, Iain Duncan-Smith, says people aren't taking jobs because it's difficult to earn more than they would receive in benefits. DO YOU GET DISTRACTED WHEN DRIVING? Be honest, what have you done when driving? You should have had your eye on the road, but you were far too concerned with cueing up a favourite Beatles track or trying to work out exactly where you left your sun glasses? We've all done it haven't we? In fact, research for the RAC has found that more than a third of UK motorists become seriously distracted while driving. And recent figures show an increase of fifty per cent in the number of fatal accidents. The biggest problems are controls for the CD and radio, followed by Sat Navs and mobile phones. One in five of young people say they drive while listening to music through headphones.
ARE PEOPLE EXPLOITED ON PROGRAMMES LIKE THE X FACTOR AND BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT? Delegates at the TUC's Annual Conference in Liverpool are talking about some of the most popular British TV shows ever and they'll be voting on a motion condemning the programmes for exploiting and humiliating vulnerable people. The opposition is being led by the actors' union Equity. We've had a number of Welsh contestants on these shows but are they exploiting people?
