Radio Wales Phone-In Update
On Friday's Phone-In
SHOULD RONNIE BIGGS BE RELEASED FROM PRISON? He's expected to be formally released from his sentence today, after the Justice Secretary, Jack Straw, agreed to let him out on compassionate grounds. Should he have stayed in jail and never enjoyed freedom ? Or is it right that Biggs is released because of his serious illness? Are you sympathetic to his case? Does he deserve freedom? 03700 100 110, text 81012.
DO YOU THINK PRESUMED CONSENT IS RIGHT OR WRONG? The British Medical Association is calling for urgent action after it estimated 30 people died waiting for organ transplants in Wales in a year. It said it believed the Assembly Government should introduce a "soft" system of presumed consent. What do you think?
DO YOU USE THE INTERNET? Is it a powerful tool or the reason why we're losing the art of talking to each other? If you're reading this, then you're obviously a fan but do you still write letters? Martha Lane Fox, dotcom pioneer and now appointed as the government's digital inclusion champion, is convinced of the internet's benefits for all. She says "I don't think you can be a proper citizen of our society in the future if you are not engaged online" - do you agree or is that a bit harsh?
