Adam Walton presents your weekly guide to technology.
This week Adam Walton discusses social networking online. We go in search of the feelgood factor on the web, and Wrexham's community reporter gets some more PC advice.
Social networking
Recent headlines about social networking have ranged from it being bad for your health, through to it being a boon for keeping connected with friends and family. This week Adam Walton explores the pros and cons of social networking, including Facebook, with Cary Cooper, professor of organisational psychology at Lancaster University. We also hear from Welsh grandparent of the Year Carole Morgan, who is a regular web user including social networking, and from Leonie Vlachos of Age Concern who outlines their "my friends online" campaign which begins on 16th March.
Feelgood factor
We set technology journalist Rhodri Marsden the task of finding some amusing and uplifting diversions on the web, to take away the recession blues.
Pat goes into cyberspace
Radio Wales community reporter for Wrexham Pat Venner gets some more advice from home computer expert Alyson Wilson of the Allyway in Mold. This time Pat learns about some tools to help keep her laptop running smoothly
