This week Adam Walton discusses the recent interim "Digital Britain report". There's news of the growth in sales of digital radios, and we hear about improvements coming to BBC iPlayer for radio.
Digital Britain report
Technology journalist Bill Thompson joins Adam to discuss the recent publication of the interim Digital Britain report which sets out the Government's agends for digital technologies in the UK over the coming years. Wrexham community reporter Pat Venner continues to get help with her phobia of computers, with advice from home computer expert Alyson Wilson of the Allyway in Mold. This time Pat gets some web surfing tips.
iPlayer radio
Listener Bryan Jones who lives near Penmaenmawr wrote to the programme saying that he was having some problems with listening to BBC radio programmes when using iPlayer. He said it was particularly bad at weekends. We ask BBC head of Future Media & Technology James Cridland what might cause the problems. James also explains some of the changes being made to improve audio on iPlayer in the coming months
Adding another dimension
Journalist and broadaster Guy Clapperton has been finding out about the work being done to bring 3D television to our homes. Will it be coming to our living rooms soon, and will we still need to wear special glasses?
The rise of digital radio
In the run up to last Christmas digital radio sales were very healthy with around half a million being being sold in Britain. Tony Moretta, the chief executive of the Digital Radio Development Bureau joins Adam on the programme with the latest news from the world of DAB.
