We spent the day with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales at BBC Hoddinott Hall, Cardiff Bay, enjoying spectacular exclusive performances and getting a behind-the-scenes peek at life behind the scenes of an orchestra.

Roy was joined by Radio Wales' own musical maestro Beverley Humphreys and internationally renowned soprano Elin Manahan Thomas.

Radio Wales' special day with the orchestra culminates with the recording of a Six Nations concert with the BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales presented by Radio Wales' Beverley Humphreys. Beverley is joined by guest panellists including one third of the successful Three Welsh Tenors, Rhys Meirion, and Welsh Rugby Union's Roger Lewis. Highlights of the concert will be broadcast on BBC Radio Wales on Friday, February 3 at 9 PM.
