Monday 4 May 2009 marks 30 years since Margaret Thatcher entered the doors of 10 Downing Street as Prime Minister of the UK. For better or for worse, she transformed life in Britain in the 1980s. Good Morning Wales marks this milestone with a week of special reports, remembering the Thatcher years, speaking to people who were close to her, and assessing her legacy in Wales.

Two men involved in the political rise and fall of Margaret Thatcher discuss their memories of the time with Rhun ap Iorwerth, in a two-part special interview. Lord Tim Bell was Mrs Thatchers PR guru, and Lord Geoffrey Howe was one of her longest serving Cabinet members.
