All Things Considered: Economist Lord Griffiths of Fforestfach

Economist Lord Griffiths of Fforestfach

In the middle of a global financial meltdown, how does the world look if you've spent a lifetime in key posts in the City? And what sense do you make of it all in the light of your faith?

In "All Things Considered" this week (Sunday 15 February at 8.30am; repeated Wednesday 18 February at 6.30 pm) Roy Jenkins' guest is the Welshman who is Vice Chairman and Director of the investment bank, Goldman Sachs International.

Brian Griffiths - Lord Griffiths of Fforestfach - is one of the country's leading economists. A former university professor, he's been a director of the Bank of England and served on the boards of various private companies and public institutions. For six years, he was head of Margaret Thatcher's policy unit at 10 Downing Street; and as an active Christian, he's written and lectured widely on the relationship between wealth and faith.
