Gwyneth started the fire to frighten Garry away ... Stunned I am. Stunned not because it was so unexpected, but because a smart girl like Gwyneth should think it would do anything other than make Garry want revenge. Hope Garry stays in the village, he has a lighter, more caring side that could turn him slowly into a nice guy. We need a new baddie with new tricks.

Please don't tell me that Gwyneth is about to be killed off, she is one of the strongest characters in the show and let's face it there aren't many of them left. What with awful cheap looking sets and the best characters going I don't think I'll be watching for much longer.

I can`t believe Gwyneth`s cancer has come back & it looks like it's terminal this time, this is another "Pobl" character that is leaving, next it will probably be Yvonne as there`ll be nothing left for her in the village. So we're left with Garry Monk. The way the series is going, by this time next year there'll be no favourites left and I think the series won't be worth watching,which is a shame as this is the best soap on the box.

Why has the story of the fire in which Brandon got killed still not been resolved? It's been months now. What happened to the dodgy detective? She hasn't been around either. Why hasn't the person responsible been arrested? Its like poor Brandon never existed - no mention of him at all.

Where is Lois? She had the baby ,gave her away and seemed to have disappeared. come on producers tie up loose ends.I know she appeared for a few episodes but it could have been turned into some cracking episodes with good writing.

Doreen Maesteg, Ffion has never been sterile, she has no problem getting pregnant, just problems carrying to term. Britt was willing to be a surrogate as she was now a single parent and some of the money she was paid went towards therapy for Gwyneth's cancer treatment when they were lovers. Chester and Catrin are Britt's previous boyfriend's (Teg's) children, Aaron was kidnapped by Ffion when Britt realised she could not give him up. Ffion's husband Owen, did kill a prostitute in Cardiff and subsequently hung himself in the woods, at the same time Ffion was having an affair with Hywel. To add a note, I think this may be an Eptopic pregnancy which can be life threatening to both mother and baby...(maybe the character is on her way out, though I hope not)... best character they have! What on earth is going on with Sheryl, has she completely lost all her marbles, first the waster son and now the waster father, sick and tired of her, she should get back with Kevin they made a lovely couple.

I too wondered about the Ffion baby story, being infertile, the surrogacy, then the phantom pregnancy to hook Hywel, which of course meant a phantom miscarriage, and now she is going to try and con poor Jinx into believing he is the daddy. She is supposed to be intelligent (as of course so is he) so surely she should know that if he was supposedly too drunk to remember the deed he would have been too ruddy drunk to actually perform it?? this is so going to come back and bite her on the bum at some time. I cannot say I blame her for not telling Hywel after his feeble attempt to persuade her to become his bit on the side, but all she had to do was either go away and have the child elsewhere (maybe have taken up that job in N Wales, or simply said it was a drunken one night stand). The jury is out as far as the new look Cwmderi, although was a bit confused by the archway which has suddenly appeared opposite the cafe. And A bit surprised that the Jones' who had to scrounge furniture etc after the robbery suddenly had managed a total revamp. (come to think of it will we ever find out what happened there?) Hate Gaynor's new look, but then again dislike her and her two daughters intensely.

The Eifion storyline is just rubbish!! I may have only been watching for a couple of years and I may watch it with English subtitles ... but ... I am sure the Eifion I know would never have gone through the burglary / gun scenario. I started watching PyC because English soaps are total poop and I thought I'd found something different but sadly recent episodes seem to be going against the ethos of the program and turning it into another Eastenders or Corrie!!

Why has there been such a massive change in the decor of all the premises in series, without explanation? Even Garry Monk's garage is now in village!!!! So silly. And where has the alley way come from, and the shop has no step now and has side windows. Come on now don't mess with us viewers.
