Orchestra Leader Lesley Hatfield has been honoured with the prestigious award of Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music. The Academy restricts its number of Fellows to 250 living distinguished artists making the award a significant honour.
Other fellows being honoured with Lesley this year include , Saxophonist Stan Sulzman, ENO Musical Director, Edward Gardner and classical percussionist soloist Colin Currie.
The award ceremony took place on the 17 June as part of the Academy's annual graduation.
