Doctor Who concert

Doctor Who concert

Updated: 28 March 2007

See and hear highlights from this amazing concert on BBC Two Wales on Saturday 31 March at 7.45pm!

A concert of Doctor Who music was held in the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff on 19 November, with the proceeds going to Children in Need.

Tickets sold out in hours, and the lucky people able to get tickets had a night to remember.

The BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the official Doctor Who orchestra, took the stage alongside Cybermen and Daleks. They played a selection of music from the series, and each section was introduced by the Doctor himself, David Tennant.

He was joined onstage by composer Murray Gold and executive producer/chief writer Russell T Davies for a lively question and answer session.

The concert was first shown on BBCi via the red button for digital viewers, around the Doctor Who broadcasts at Christmas.
