About the programme

More information about the work of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales' education and community outreach programme.

The Education & Community Outreach Department, formerly known as RESOUND, organises projects as diverse as home visits to play to the elderly, family concerts to introduce music to a wider audience and conducting masterclasses for aspiring maestros.

The BBC National Chorus of Wales is also involved, taking part in workshops in schools and community venues throughout the country.

For an overview of some of their work, take a look at the slideshow featuring a range of activities.
