The park authority's attractive website covers everything from lakes and mountains to details of the park wardens, walks you can follow and places to visit. There is also information on the authority's meetings, working groups and conferences.

North Wales Police

The North Wales Police website covers policies, priorities and personnel profiles. You can read an interview with the chief constable or check-out Off Beat, a section on safety aimed at children. There are details about joining the police force and a questionnaire to let them know what you think of their website.

North Wales Fire Service

If you want to see pictures of firefighters attending road accidents and a variety of blazes you might like this site. Otherwise its largely for those with a professional interest as it's all about the structure and practices of the brigade.

Anglesey Local Health Board

This easy-access site gives details of local GPs, dentists, pharmacies and opticians. It also provides access to the health board's press articles and Welsh language scheme.

Conwy Local Health Board

This easy-use site is similar to that of the Anglesey Health Board. You can also access the dates and minutes of the public board's meetings, and find other useful health sites in the web links section.

Gwynedd Local Health Board

As with the other two Local Health Board sites, just pick a topic from the left hand navigation panels to find what you need. You can access details about local healthcare professionals, as well as information on how patients can have their say on local health matters.

Traffic Wales
http://www.traffic-wales.com
The Welsh Assembly's traffic information service, which manages the trunk roads and motorways of Wales with CCTV and electronic signs. Enquiries can be made directly to the Traffic Wales Information Line on 0845 6026020.

National Assembly for Wales
http://www.wales.gov.uk
Responsible for a range of services in Wales, including education, health, transport, economic development and the Welsh language. The Assembly's extensive and bilingual website includes records of proceedings, policy documents, committee minutes and agendas. Background information about its role is also available in Arabic, Cantonese, Gujerati, Portuguese, Spanish and Urdu. Live webcasts of debates are the latest addition to the site.
