Pete's Eats website is about the famous cafe in Llanberis which is dubbed "possibly the best caff in the world". Comments about the cafe have been in the press all over the world, including New York Times and The Guardian. As the cafe is very popular among climbers, there's information on other sporting activities to do in the area.

A nice-looking site that's well laid-out and includes excellent mountain safety advice, a view of the RAF rescue helicopter you never want to see and, just to make you think hard before venturing onto the hills, a catalogue of incidents the team have attended.

Seiont, Gwyrfai and Llyfni Fishing Society

This local angling association has waters in some of the most beautiful locations in Wales, including Llyn Padarn and the River Seiont between Llanberis and Caernarfon. Permits are available to visitors, as well as members. All details are on the website.

Snowdonia Weather Stations

This site gives access to the information obtained from the weather stations of Snowdonia. The functional navigation bar guides you to both basic and very technical information about the current weather, as well as other archive materials. You can also check out the three live webcams to get an instant idea of the weather (if they're blurry it might well be the heavy mist and not the camera!), giving views of Moel Eilio, Snowdon's summit and from the Electric Mountain.

Snowdon Fiddle Festival

This annual event held in Nant Peris in June is an opportunity to have fun and raise the profile of traditional fiddle playing. There's dancing, other instruments and activities too.

Snowdonia Marathon

The race from Nant Peris on a circular route through the national park has been going since 1982 and attracts hundreds of runner every October. Course and entry details are on the site.
