River and Sea Sense

Set up in memory of Christopher Turnbull, who drowned at Capel Curig in 2006, River And Sea Sense is about saving lives in rivers and at sea, with events for children of all ages around the region, highlighting the dangers of water.


Mencap

Mencap is a large organisation helping people with learning disabilities, their families and carers. There is a North Wales page on this site covering news, campaigns, fund-raising, publications and many relevant topics.

Anglesey First Response Team

The Anglesey First Response Team, supported by the Welsh Ambulance Service, helps when there is a possible delay in reaching a casualty by despatching a nearby First Responder with oxygen/defibrillation during cardiac arrest. The site contains information on heart attacks, plus news and pictures of the team.
