This is a Wales Tourist Board activities site which covers cycling holidays, routes and hire shops.


Sustrans

The sustainable transport charitable organisation has maps and other details of cycle routes throughout Britain, including Lon Las Cymru.

Routes4Riders

Details of routes for mountain bike riders in North West Wales, including distance and severity, as well as access. Snowdon and Coed y Brenin are among areas covered, and there are also equipment reviews and weather forecasts.

Coed y Brenin

This simple site has lots of useful information for mountain bikers coming to the Coed y Brenin area near Dolgellau. You'll find accommodation ideas, cycling areas, guides and details of bike shops and hire.

This site is packed with news and features about cycling in North Wales, including detailed routes for circular cycle rides, sketch maps, and amusing photographs of various events.

Dysynni Cycling Club

This club is based in Tywyn, Meirionydd, and the website offers photos, membership details, events and results for mountain biking and road races.

This site includes almost inch-by-inch descriptions of some of the main Snowdonia mountain biking routes.

This is very much a site about races and results, for the dedicated competitor.

This is the umbrella organisation for all the cycling clubs in Wales and covers all seven cycling disciplines, as well as disability information, coaching details and events.

Energy Cycles

Road and mountain biking are both covered by this club which meets at Pete's Eats in Llanberis and is particularly keen to get youngsters and women on their bikes.

Mawddach Goldrush

The local Rotary Club's charity money-raising event for mountain bikers at Coed y Brenin. Riders stake their claim to a mystery bounty hidden on the Mawddach Gold Rush map.
