Check out the weather on Penllŷn with this webcam view from David Goadby's Llŷn Peninsula Website. The image, from the western end of the peninsula near Llangwnnadl, is updated every 15 minutes.
"The camera is on a rotator, but usually points North West towards Anglesey. During June we sometimes move the camera towards the West so visitors can see the magnificent sunsets," says David.

We shall be on the Llyn for our 'pre-winter mini break' in a week or two. Valerie always loves the area as the peninsula changes, ready for winter. I find myself fascinated by the many tones of grey that can be seen and Valerie enjoys wrapping up warm for the bracing chill on the beaches. Truly god's country.

Very handy webcam to check if the weather's good enough for a weekend's boating. We're moored at Pwhelli.

It's an outstanding place the Llyn, I have been visiting for over 25 years now with mates and now fanily and kids, super beaches and the weather is often good. Is there anyway that the camera can be pointed towards Bardsey Island?

I have been visiting Aberdaron since i was around 6 months old, i am now 21. My dad has ahd a caravan here for years and i find it to be a fantastic holiday. The people are fantastic and it has some of the most beautifull beaches ever. I don't think i will ever stop visiting here and i look forward to my daughter having the same experience here as i have.

Thanks to David for the webcam view. My wife and I are fortunate to have a static caravan not far from this camera location with a very similar view from the bedroom window. During the summer school holidays it's nice to be at work and know what the conditions have been like for my wife and children in Wales. As children our respective families always went to this area for our family holidays. So when we thought of buying a caravan, there was only one area that we could consider - our children can enjoy similar memories to ours, the countryside, the beaches, the people and the local produce (I suggest the butcher in Edern, to name but one).

The Lion at Tudweiliog is approximately 4 miles away. Good real ale and an amazing selection of malt whiskies. Also 3 pubs in Sarn possibly marginally nearer but the coastal path will lead you to Tudweiliog.

Anyone who loves the Llyn Peninsula and wants a reminder of it should buy Mike Simmons' ' From Anelog to Bardsey' CD. (Check his website). Had occasion to buy this CD from the cafe in Aberdaron many years ago and it is absolutely perfect music to capture the essence of the Llyn. Miss you Wales!! Oh, and thank you David for the lovely views and reminder of the best place on earth, North Wales. ( Pity Cezanne never saw it ....) Hello to anyone from Ysgol Ardudwy, Harlech xx
