Would you like to learn some new skills that will boost your CV and make it stand out from the crowd? Perhaps you’re thinking of a career in the emergency services, medicine or care work, but would like some experience of it before you decide. Or maybe you just want to meet some new people and try some new things. Volunteering with St John Cymru - Wales can give you all of these things and more.
You can give up as much or as little time as you want - whatever you can give will make a real difference to us. We provide first aid workers for many Millennium Stadium events and our volunteers are needed at a wide range of events, from concerts to community fun days to sports games all across the country. However, it’s not just first aid that you can get involved in, there are also opportunities for youth work, fundraising, PR, admin support and leadership roles. We also run a Millennium Volunteers course which allows you to gain a nationally recognised qualification.
If you'd like to apply to be a volunteer with us, or if you simply want some more information on St John Cymru - Wales and what we do, please do not hesitate to contact me via email (laura@stjohnwales.org.uk) or by phone (02920 449507).
