The beach is absolutely stunning, and the people that run the cafe, car park etc are lovely. I agree we should keep this one quiet. We don't want everyone coming down do we?

We fell in love with this place 3 years ago and visit as often as we can. The cafe owners always offer a warm welcome serving hot food and drinks on cold days. The lost property section is a godsend too. Can't wait to see them all again soon, rain or shine, mainly rain in Anglesey!

Looks ideal for some awesome skimboarding. I'll check it out soon, and let you know.If you already know, give us a shout.

Go abroad? NO CHANCE call me sad if you want but North Wales and Anglesey are the bees knees as far as beauty and beaches are concerned (and scenery)(and friendly residents)(and good pubs) etc, etc, etc.

Hi there,
My parents and I run the cafe and carparks at Lligwy, the most gorgeous beach ever. The surf is best when the wind changes to N.W. after a few days of strong N.E. The beach is also great for land kiting, kite surfing, kayaking. Just like to send out a huge welcome to all interested in coming to Lligwy - you won't be disappointed.

Lligwy and Dulas Reef, my first ever reef surfing experience was here. Brilliant 4-6 ft cross shore hollow perfection. Works best on a North West 6-7 which is cross shore with the swell runing down from the north. This will have secret spots going off. I've been surfing this place for 15 years as well as most of Anglesey. Which on its day can get as good as anywhere. Piccies to prove. Good to see a site putting North Wales surfing on the map.
