Annual parking permit holders can use long-stay car parks but have to pay again to use short stay ones. Where's the logic in that? Certainly makes sense in July and August but why does it apply in the off-season when car parks are empty?

I was born in Pwllheli but at the age of 32 I left the town. I don't know what took me so long. The locals are great but the coucil have destroyed the town - empty shops up and down the high street and why have they let Bon Marche get in that state? I miss my friends a lot, but Pwllheli not at all.

I've lived in Pwllheli all my life, im 27 now, and with people 'complaining' that ASDA was coming to Pwllheli, it's the best thing that happend to this boring town. It was about time something was built on that waste land.

Have been going to Pwllheli for nearly 30 yrs and up till recently my family owned a house near Chwilog. (Hello to the Madryn Arms, miss you all). We made the hard decision to sell up mainly because of the slow decline of the local towns. The main street in Pwllheli for example is declining into a 'slum.' This is very much a shame. It will all too soon be full of pound and charity shops. This makes me sad. We always found the people of North Wales (with one or two exceptions) very welcoming. We will still go there but unfortunately not most weekends like we did. I for one have many happy memories and will genuinely miss Lon Goed.

Well, look what's happened...I was home over Christmas, took a look down the High Street, and counted only 6 people walking down it, at 4pm on Christmas Eve! I wonder why. R.I.P Pwllheli, and well done the Town Council for nailing its coffin firmly shut...

What a holiday destination Pwllheli is, I've been going there now for well over 20 years and it's like our second home, we wouldn't go anywhere else for the world. Wicked Cadwalader's Icecream, Allports Chippy, some nice pubs, Wednesday is Market Day on the Maes Car Park. Also if you're a keen snooker player check out the Pwllheli Snooker Club and meet "Ned Cap Coch" the star of Pwllheli Town, a true one off! For a good Sunday dinner head on over to Llanbedrog and the Glyn-y-Weddw Arms. It's wicked and excellent value for money.
