Double Fairlie Merddin Emrys (built in 1879) on the left, Palmerston, built in 1864 and behind a Welsh Highland Railway NGG16 Garratt number 87 built in 1936. The photo was taken on 1 March 2009 when the rails of the Ffestiniog Railway were linked to the new Welsh Highland Railway.
