Beryl, Dwyran
There was a thriving port at Borth in Dwyran in the late 1800s-early 1900s. Does anyone know anything of its history?

Alan, Anglesey.
The car park is solely for the residents of Newborough and although representation have been made to relax this restriction, it has been rejected. The Newborough Forest & Warren Liaison Partnership recommendation of Dec. 2006 states - 'Using the residents car park for disabled access (because of concerns expressed during the consultation about possible abuse of the system, administration difficulties, access being better from elsewhere and changing the nature of the area)'-this being the reason for rejection. I feel it is a shame that people of genuine immobility are deprived from enjoying the beauty of Ynys Llanddwyn and hope that further consideration is given to this issue.

Can anyone tell me why some people are allowed to park quite close to Llanddwyn Island and yet it is blocked off for the majority, making it impossible for those of restricted mobility?
