I started singing when I was as young as two. My family are musical and I was always in a choir or something. It's always been in my blood.
Since then I've had a successful career singing in Welsh and now I'm going to move on and do more in English - see if I can cross the border and build my audience.
I sing kind of pop rock, but then again there's a side to my music which is quite deep and soulful.
I write about things I've seen and felt, things which are happening in the world. I write about things from the heart - that might sound a bit sad!
I always find it difficult to say what my influences are, they're so varied. I loved classical music when I was younger, and artists like Neil Young, the Beach Boys, The Mammas and The Papas. But I like lots of modern stuff too - it's really diverse.
I'll be writing the English songs with some new writers from London, but I'll still be working with Sion from my band.
I won't be translating my Welsh songs, I'd rather do something new. Those songs have been successful in Welsh and I'd like to leave them like that.
My aim is to carry on doing what I do now and hopefully be successful in English. I don't ever want to stop gigging or writing music. I'm not aiming too high, but I hope I can carry on being a musician. Elin Fflur
