DLC
Last updated: 27 November 2005
Artist / Band: DLC (stands for something too rude to publish! - Decency Ed). From: Gates of Hell near Corris. Style / Influences: Heavy dirty rock n roll. Slayer, Pantera, Guns n Roses, Pogues, Slash, Ramones, Pistols. Who's in the band? Jak Shtung (vocals), El Diablo (vocals & guitar), Garuf (percussion), Billy the Skid (rhythm guitar & vocals), Bundy (lead guitar), Lil Bundy (bass), Tansley (drums). There are also many other band members, but if I named them all it would spoil the element of surprise! Been going since: 2004. Where they play: No gigs as of yet played, but 2005 is the year of DLC. Favourite local venue: Aberllefeni Slate Quarry. Songs they cover: Beastie Boys' Fight for your Right. Recordings available: Welcome to the Hell. Best moment so far: Being mistaken for terrorists and being classed a threat to national security! Slight misunderstanding during a publicity campaign. The bird's head was a complete coincidence! Future plans: World recognition or at least a good loyal following. Favourite other local bands: Three Minute Warning, D-tox, Smoke like a Fish. Any bad gigging moments so far? Nope. What's in the name? It's just a name you're not gonna forget in a hurry. Fantasy gig venue? Donnington (Download Festival) on the main stage. Who'd you like to see down the front? Kerry King, Slash, Shane McGowan, the oz man, the whole of Mach! New law your band would introduce? Every time George W Bush visits the UK he would have a full cavity search by Kerry King while listening to Necrophilliac. Anything else we should know? Parental Advisory Explicit content live and recorded! Website: None as of yet, but spread the word about Dreadlock'd and we'll remain ever grateful.
