Prior to Jodies Wine Bar the building was Bridge End Cafe with a small sweet shop attached.

John Fulham, there was a chidren's home in Llanfairpwll when I was a child there. It is now a home for the elderly. We were encouraged to take the children under our wings in school etc. Most turned out to be good citizens.

What is happening to Hen Cei? This was the home of my stepfather Dennis Gray Hughes, Pier Master, & my mother, until Dennis' untimely death in 1983. My mother then had to leave the house to make way for subsequent Pier Masters. The house had been in Dennis' family for several generations. It is very sad to see it now in such a state of disrepair and neglect.
