Sheila (Jas) Leitman (née Kirkham), who now lives in Mermaid Waters, on Australia's Gold Coast, sent us these old photos of when she was Llandudno May Queen and, further back, when her father was the queen's lord chamberlain.

She writes: "I am an ex-pat Llandudno girl now living in Queensland. I visited Llandudno for the first time in 20 years last January.

"I was only there only three days and spent that time visiting family, but I was interested to see how much Llandudno had changed. I've been away for over 30 years.
