There are octopuses in Wales! Good grief - I never realised. I love swimming in the sea and don't mind fish but am scared witless by the thought of sharks. And I think octopuses, too, now I come to think of it. Too many Tarzan films with Johnny Weissmuller during the summer holidays - where gigantic octopuses and clams would grab hold of him and try to drown him.

It is in fact a egret but normally found across the channel. There are two types, the little egret with yellow feet, long white crest, summer only, and the great white egret, black feet, no summer crest, a rare sight for this part of the globe. Nice pic.
