Martyn - Thank you. What a wonderful gift you have and how lucky we are to share it. I can now sit at my computer and get my 'fix' of Llyn when ever I feel a bit down. I can't believe my luck at having found this site! Keep up the good work.

There is nowhere quite like home. These pictures express what a special and tranquil place the Llyn is and remains to be!

We go to Abersoch every weekend in the summer. We have a boat and I love it!

Beautiful pictures, thanks very much. Unfortunately I have never been to Wales, but I would love to visit it one day, as two of my favourite poets are Welshmen: Dylan Thomas and his namesake R.S.Thomas. I was searching for Abersoch on the Net, as I came across this name in R.S.Thomas' great poem with the same title.

I go to Trefor every two weeks, stay in a caravan, go fishing and walking, love it!

The Llyn pictures bring back so many memories of my magical childhood in Botwnnog. I have travelled so much since then, but this remains the most beautiful place in the world.

I spent many summer holidays in Pwllheli when I was a little girl. I'm originally from Leeds and my family would visit my grandparents and Aunty Kitty quite often. I have many fond memories of the place. Great site - thanks!

I have just come back from Abersoch, I used go there as a child and I have found it is still a beautiful and unspoilt place to visit.

You have taken superb pictures, and they bring back memories of my visits to friends near Pwllheli. A wonderful area.

Lovely pictures that bring back wonderful memories. I'm from Manchester and my family would have holidays in North Wales a few times a year. My favourite place in the world is Llanbedrog beach, it's where I spent the best days of my life with my Nanna.

I'm 13 and because my dad's in the Army I now live in Germany, but I lived in Pwllheli all my life and I was born there. My family still lives there too. It is a great place and I miss it loads. This site is great and it brings back a lot of memories - thank you.

Great pictures Martyn. They made me quite homesick, I used to go to the Llyn peninsula almost every year with my family. We had some lovely holidays!! Keep up the good work. I live in California now, but there's nothing like the beauty of Wales.

I shouldn't be looking at these, because of the 'hiraeth' that overwhelms me. Especially the one of Gimlet Rock, where I used to go to do my homework. Love them all.

Wonderful shots. I lived in North Wales during World War II and will never forget how beautiful it is.

Brilliant picutures Martyn, well done. They bring back many memories of our summers on the Llyn.

Excellent photography, lovely to see scenes of Pwllheli, which I last saw during the 2nd World War when I did my basic naval training at HMS Glendower (a holiday camp before the war and possibly still is).

Alan Harper-Smith from Llanbedrog
Excellent pictures. Martyn encapsulates all that is so wonderful about the Llyn.

What beautiful pictures and country. I have visited the southern part of Wales but now MUST visit this area soon. No wonder my Gram and her parents yearned to return one day to their Wales. They did not. Thank heavens, as I am here now but I will visit for them.
