The 1st Hersham Scout Troop, Walton-On-Thames, Surrey, have been visiting Snowdonia for the past few years and each time they have visited the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue base. As a 'thank you' they decided to donate part of their fundraising to the team. On May 2 2005 they presented the team with £750 for a new stretcher.
