In 2003 Beaumaris and Menai Bridge Camera Club celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding by holding an exhibition at Canolfan Beaumaris Leisure Centre.

This was in addition to the annual exhibition held in March/April at the Library, Menai Bridge.

The club meets every Friday evening from mid-September to April in the hall of St Anne's Catholic Church in Dale Street, Menai Bridge. Prospective members can always be sure of a warm welcome at any meeting. Monthly outings are also arranged.

The slideshow includes a selection of work by members. To see more images or for more information visit the club website.

As a little boy I won a photo comp in Beaumaris in the 1950s using my wonderful Agfa Box Camera, it was a BW taken from the cemetery across the Strait. I feel so lucky to have enjoyed my early years in beautiful Beaumaris.

WONDERFUL! And that doesn't seem like enough. I am a photographer and have been for many years. I truly appreciate these. I belong to a Photography club here in my hometown of Canton, Il USA. Our club would really like to correspond with your club online if you're interested. Looking forward to hearing from you.

David Mills - fine photo of a Penmon Sunrise is so evocative of that special place. When I was growing up in Bangor Penmon was one of my favorite places to visit. I have lived in Australia since 1977. This photo captures the ethereal mood that seems to be there. The monastery, dovecote and the lighthouse bell are all back in my mind from the moment that I saw this photograph.

What a wonderful collection of photos. The snow scene of Snowdon reminds me of the Alps here in the South Island NZ. I visited North Wales and Anglesey 5 years ago, it is the home of my late mother, beautiful country. Congratulations.
