Ever thought you could do a better job as a sports commentator or fancied having a go at reading the news? More 200 members of the public had a chance to do just that when they came to the BBC Wales open day at Bryn Meirion, Bangor, on Saturday June 19.
They also went to a drama workshop and had a go at being DJs, as well as exploring bbc.co.uk websites on the BBC Wales Bus. And in a marquee put up for the occasion there was live broadcasting of Radio Cymru programmes, plus information on BBC careers and Children in Need.
The winner of the online quiz held on the day was Emma Tuck of Holyhead who receives a wind-up solar-powered radio. Runners up, Sefa Ahiaku and Llinor Roberts, receive books.

We enjoyed everything on the 19 June, everyone was so friendly and helpful. It has given us a new insight to the workings of the BBC. An added bonus for me (Vi) was seeing a picture of myself on picture no. 11. We are listening more to Radio Wales now!
Did you come to the open day? What did you enjoy most?
