The Welsh FA have responsibility for the Welsh Premier League, the Cymru Alliance and the Welsh Alliance.
Lower, local leagues are affiliated to the area football associations - in NW Wales' case, the North Wales Coast FA.
They cover the leagues for Gwynedd, Clwyd, Caernarfon area, Anglesey and the Ynys Môn and Gwynedd Sunday League.
They also have responsibility for junior leagues for players between the ages of 12 and 17, including ones in Llŷn/Eifionydd, Gwyrfai, Anglesey and Aberconwy.
The NWC FA also arrange the cup competitions for the juniors, bigger teams and small village teams and there's a women's and girls' cup on the way.
Teams such as Dolgellau, Corris, Aberdyfi, Tywyn/Bryn Crug come under the remit of the Central Wales FA and play in the Aberystwyth League whilst the juniors from south Gwynedd play in the Tywyn and District Mini/Minor League.
Trevor Lloyd from the North Wales Coast FA gives a shout out for refs:
"We do rely heavily on volunteers - and we're really in need of some more referees at the moment. We ran a successful training session in Llangefni recently, but we still need help covering games in Pen Llŷn, Blaenau, Llanrwst and Llandudno. Get in touch with me if you're interested."
