I'm absolutely amazed here by the bands - some you'd never imagine going to hear - and finding out they're fantastic. I'd never go to see a ukulele band if it was advertised, but when I came here it was amazing. They're true, excellent musicians.

I came a few years ago when it was in the town square with Lindisfarne playing and I've finally come back to enjoy it again. Sunburn, good bands - what more could you want?

I usually by-pass Dolgellau on my way to somewhere else, but there are lovely pubs here, lovely people. It's great.
